The Burgoon Law Firm was founded in 2007 by attorney Brian Burgoon, who has been practicing law in Atlanta for over 18 years.  Prior to starting the firm, Brian practiced law with one of Atlanta's largest law firms for over 10 years.  He also is an arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association.

Brian Burgoon elected to UF College of Law Board of Trustees. Brian Burgoon was elected to the University of Florida College of Law Board of Trustees, the law school’s primary support and advisory board.

Brian Burgoon re-elected to Florida Bar Board of Governors.  Brian Burgoon was re-elected to his ninth consecutive two-year term to represent the more than 14,000 out-of-state members on the Florida Bar Board of Governors.  The Board sets policy for the over 100,000 member regulatory organization, implements rules and regulations for lawyers, and oversees lawyer ethics and discipline.
